Getting closer

I completed the base, with lots of Ork stuff. Lots of oily black - remember, the Boreas has a Flamethrower.

Here's a first shot on the Dencara base that I used for the Thantalos in the Fast Attack competiton.

Semper Vigilans!

"Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum"
The veteran Boreas walker "Semper Vigilans", commanded by ace pilot Major M. Wazowski, stomps over the scorched remnants of an Ork outpost, during a battle raid of the Dencarian XIX Guards Regiment against scattered Ork forces in the southern hemisphere of Dencara 5.

Nearing the finish line

The paintjob continues. Inking and shadows added.

Battledamage and Purity Seals

The Exhausts

Previous battle and fire damage crudely fixed and patched.

Shot up headlight

Semper Vigilans - Immer wachsam

Highlights added.

And the Standard.

I think the two bloody Ork heads came out nicely

On to the base and final touch ups.

More on the Boreas

More Details added.

Here I added soem GS Purity Seals and a standard with some Ork heads :)

The first coat of paint, and basic camo.

With that trooper it gets visible how big the Boreas really is.

As you can see, the Boreas camo is identical to the camo pattern of the storm troopers.

Ready to take on a lot of Orks :)

Still secret

Here is a quick Work in Progress for my BOREAS Walker that I'm going to submit to the Walke's Walker Fest challenge.
It was inspired by this little video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaPvw88DDoU
So I hope you like my interpretion of it, and I hope it nicely fits the steampunk topic of my ZEUS super heavy battlefortress

As you can see it is based on a Kinder egg capsule

Some detail shots

And this is the second BOREAS, a veteran with lots of battle damage and workshop patching, that will be the entry to the contest.

It is armed with a heavy Flamer and a Multi-Grenade launcher

I still have to do some detailing and then off to painting :)
Cheers
